Economics

The Department of Economics was established in the year 1973 when this college was started by a private managing committee. Right from its inception, the department has been imparting education in the field of Economics with a view to promote and popularize economics among the students. Department has established a society, “Socio-Economic, Environmental Awareness and Research” in 2016 and organizes Field Visits, Awareness Programmes, Field Surveys, Seminars and Workshops, etc., with Government’s developmental administration, NGOs, and others. In addition to this, the Department is running PG Classes as well from July, 2017.
