Government College Dhaliara — Department of Department of Political Science

The Subject of Political Science was introduced in Government Degree College Dhaliara in the year 1973.
In the beginning Prof. Avtar Singh harchand was the head of the Department.
Prof. Madhu Sharma who worked as Principal from the year 2016 of this college was a part of this Department.
The Department also plays an important role in organizing different activities i.e. Lectures & Seminars Awareness Programme of voter rights information and RTI.
The Department has adopted Semester/Choice based Credit system for BA students after the implement of RUSA in April 2013.
