Government College Dhaliara — Department of Physics

The department of physics was established in the year 1987-88 in the Govt. College Dhaliara with the commencement of science stream both in medical and non-medical. Since its establishment the department is running successfully. Many students of non-medical stream have brought laurels to the college as well as to the department and serving the society in different capacities.

The department had offered annual programme for the B.Sc. classes before session 2012-13. But after the implementation of RUSA in higher education, in 2013, the department also adopted CBCS for B.Sc. students. The students are also being offered with interdisciplinary courses such as Minor/compulsory and hobby subjects from different departments.

The college is providing library facility to the students to develop their reading habits and also the internet facilities including Wi Fi, computational lab. ICT smart rooms.

The teaching methodology includes lecture method, demonstration, seminars and discussion, class tests, assignments and practical’s are also the part of teaching methodology.
